Thank you… now on to our hop

Something Fierce, at first glance is a very youthful paper collection, featuring cute dinosaurs. First I made a card for a young boy... actually, I am planning to give it to my son for his 12th birthday this week. I like to add little details, with my Marvy journalling pen, like the lining around the pewter toned paper. Also foam tape is a MUST! I love a card with some dimension. Here I popped up the Dino Crossing and the blue Dino.

I wanted to challenge myself a bit, and see what I could create with this paper collection, that did not say young boy...Using the Flower Market Cricut Cartridge I was able to whip up this sweet, feminine, card, that reflects a more mature feeling. I used Raspberry to ink around the edge of the white polkadot paper. And as always - a little 3D tape made the project by lifting up a few if the green blooms and flowers. I LOVE how versatile this paper is!

Your next stop on the Cross Canada Hop is Kristine of Kristine Ponte.
If you get lost along the way, you can head to Michelle S Blog, as she has the complete blog list.
Thanks for hopping along with us - we hope we were able to inspire you to get creative using some of the designs, products and techniques seen along the way. We hope you will join us again next month when we will be featuring artwork using the FANTASTIC I Heart Us collection. So mark February 10th on your calendars and hop along with us!
